xAI has launched a new interface for its Grok chatbot that could be compared to ChatGPT’s Canvas.

The Elon Musk-helmed AI company has introduced the first version of Studio, which can generate documents, code and even browser games on a separate window.

Using Grok Studio tools, users can edit and create documents, code, reports, and even simple browser games.

Officially, Grok Studio opens content in a separate window, and users can collaborate with Grok in real time to refine projects.

Grok isn’t the first chatbot to introduce a similar feature; OpenAI introduced a tool called Canvas for ChatGPT last October, and Anthropic introduced Claude’s Artifacts feature earlier.

Grok Studio is not significantly different from these competitors in terms of core functionality, but the xA another update announced on the same day adds to its utility.

Grok now integrates with Google Drive.

Users can upload documents, forms, and slide files directly from their Google Drive account, attached to Grok’s prompts for processing, further enhancing Grok’s ease of content creation and data processing.
