South East Stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party have unanimously recommended Sunday Udeh-Okoye as their sole candidate to complete the term of office of the national Secretary of the party.

This forms part of the resolutions reached at an emergency meeting held in Enugu , at the instant of the leader in the zone and Governor of Enugu state, Peter MBAH

The Stakeholders emphasised that the action was sequel to the Supreme Court Judgement and the resolutions of the the PDP Governors forum held in Ibadan, Oyo State mandating the zone to present a candidate for the position of the National Secretary.

The Stakeholders meeting co-chaired by Board of Trustee Chairman of the Party Adolphus Wabara, attended by former, serving members of state and Federal House of representatives, Senators, Former Governors of the South East and other notable members of the party, resolved that, if their position is not implemented, the zone would be compelled to reconsider their relationship with the party going forward.
