Chairman of the League Management Company (LMC), Shehu Dikko has commiserated with the father of late Shooting Stars defender, Joseph Izu.
Dikko assured the father Pa Reuben Izu that the LMC will continue to support the family.
While expressing shock at the death, Dikko in his message to the Shooting Stars Manager,Rasheed Balogun offered condolences to the club on behalf of the LMC Board, the entire NPFL Clubs and supporters.
The defender died while holidaying in his hometown, Okaki in Bayelsa State on Sunday from gunshot injuries.
The gun was said to have been fired by a member of the joint security agencies.
