Nigeria premier league clubs FC IfeanyiUbah and Nasarawa United will be gunning for their first-ever major trophy today when they take centre stage in the final of the 2016 Federation Cup.
Cup triumph will qualify either team for next year’s CAF Confederation Cup after both of them failed to finish in the top three team in the league.
Ifeanyi Ubah reached the final after defeating Crown FC in a semi-final almost marred by controversy, while Nasarawa defeated former champions, Enyimba Aba, One-nil.
Meanwhile, FC IfeanyiUbah will provide free transportation to their fans residing in Lagos for the showdown.
Akwa United won the last edition of the competition edging out Lobi Stars 2-1.
