FG to introduce funding mechanism to cater for Lass fever patients

The Federal Government is set to introduce a funding mechanism to cater for those suffering from Lassa Fever in the country.

The Director General, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Chikwe Ihekweazu, said the healthcare fund was to ensure that money does not become a hindrance for patients in accessing treatment.

He said efforts are being made to reduce the burden of treating patients,before the fund takes off.
