Former Super Eagles Captain and Coach, Sunday Ugochukwu Oliseh, has been appointed into the International Football Association Board.

The appointment into the prestigious IFAB board is the first time a Nigerian is getting such an appointment into the board which is responsible for making the rules of the game.

His appointment which has been ratified was also confirmed by him on his official X formerly Twitter handle.

Sunday Oliseh was a former AFCON Champion and 1996 Olympic Gold medallist with the U-23 Eagles captained by Nwankwo Kanu and Coached by Johannes Bonfrere.
