Ihezue Ugochi Mitchel who represented Miss Kebbi, has emerged as the winner of the 2017 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2017 beauty contest.
Ugochi, beat other 35 contestants to the crown, emerging as the 30th MBGN. After going through a series of activities in preparation for the contest, it is interesting to see that the young lady emerged the winner of the beauty contest.
The 2017 MBGN contest is the thirtieth 
edition of the program since its inception. Ihueze is an undergraduate of the prestigious University of Benin (UNIBEN); she contested with thirty five other contestants across the country before she emerged as the winner.
Miss Bayelsa, Miss Sokoto, Miss Plateau and Miss Oyo were the other top five finalists. Miss Bayelsa came in as fourth runner-up, third runner-up was Miss Oyo, while the second runner-up was Miss Plateau.
Other awards won by contestants were most photogenic award given to Miss Anambra, Miss Yobe won the amity award and best traditional costume went to Miss Sokoto while the best evening wear award went to Miss Bayelsa.
