Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie is a step closer to becoming the next governor of Anambra 

State. The actor won his party, Democratic People’s Congress (DPC) primaries. “I give God almighty the glory,” he said after winning the election. “It’s time for the youth, time for the masses.”

“We will run a Government that will put the welfare of the masses first,” he promised.

The actor will be going head to head with APC’s Tony Nwoye and PDP’s Oseloka Obaze, who have also won their primaries, in the forthcoming November 2017, Anambra State Governorship Election.

Yul, who is the son of Veteran Nigerian actor, Pete Edochie revealed his plans to run for the political seat in July.
