St Augustine Primary School has emerged champions of the Dullar Primary Stars Cup in Lagos after defeating Baptist Primary School 1-0 in a keenly contested match played at the Bashua Primary School in Shomolu.
17 schools played in the week long knock-out competition across two centres in Shomolu Lagos
Earlier SS Peter and Paul Primary School defeated St Paul Primary School 2-0 to win third place position.
It was a keenly contested match as both teams played out a goalless draw in the first half.
Chinedu Ukoha scored the first goal from close range while Sulaimon Taofeek doubled the lead.
